How I'd measure success
One primary metric, the supporting signals, the guardrails that keep starts qualified, and the reporting cadence behind it.
- Primary: visitor → qualified application start conversion rate.
- Supporting: qualified-start volume, CTA click-through, assessment step-1 completion, mobile start rate, bounce, Core Web Vitals pass rate, accessibility score, organic impressions/clicks, AI-Overview citations.
- Guardrails: downstream booking and show rates (so I'm driving qualified starts, not vanity starts), and consent/privacy compliance.
- Cadence: weekly funnel + experiment readouts, run off the shared reporting dashboard I'd build in the first two weeks; every shipped change tied to a hypothesis and a pre-registered metric.
The 30/60/90 framing
- Days 1-30: onboard, build the reporting and site monitoring, baseline the current state, and ship the first zero-regret wins.
- Days 31-60: run the first experiments and ship the mobile, accessibility, and hygiene fixes.
- Days 61-90: show sustained lift on qualified-start rate, with accessibility and CWV held as standards.
The week-by-week version of days 1-30 lives in the 30-day plan.
